Alpha Company Aviation · Third division

Buy or sellan aircraft.

Buying or selling, we help you find the right airplane and confirm it is what the logbooks say it is. We are mechanics first, so the logbooks get read by the people who work on these engines every week.

Brokering

We also broker
airplanes.

Alpha Company Aviation is a maintenance shop and a flight school, and we also help people buy and sell aircraft. If you are looking for an airplane, we will help you find one and go through the logbooks before you commit. If you have one to sell, we will look at it, tell you honestly what we think, and put it in front of buyers.

Current airplanes get posted on our Facebook page as they come available. If you do not see what you are after, call us with the kind of airplane you want and we will keep an eye out.

Buyers and sellers

Which side
are you on?

B.01 · Buying

I want to buy an airplane

You get mechanics on your side of the table instead of just a salesperson.

  1. Tell us what you are looking for and what you want to spend.
  2. We help you find airplanes that fit, from our listings or from what we can find.
  3. We go through the logbooks and tell you what we find, good or bad.
  4. You decide. If you want an inspection, you pick the shop.

B.02 · Selling

I want to sell my airplane

We look at the airplane and the logbooks before anyone talks about a price.

  1. Send us the tail number, the times, and where it sits.
  2. We go through the logbooks and talk with you about how to price it.
  3. We post it and get it in front of the people we know who are shopping for one.
  4. We stay on it until it sells or you tell us to stop.

The difference

The shop that maintains aircraft
checks the one you are about to buy.

A broker who is not a mechanic has to send the logbooks out to find out what they mean. We read them here. Our mechanics hold FAA A&P certificates with Inspection Authorization, we are an authorized Robinson service center, and we sign off annuals every week. When we read a set of logbooks, we are reading them the same way we read them on the shop floor.

That is the whole reason this division exists. If you found an airplane on your own and just want somebody honest to look at it, that is a pre-buy inspection, and we do those too. Bring us the tail number and the location.

Which side we are on When we are brokering an airplane, we do not do your pre-buy on it. You pick the shop. If you want us to inspect an airplane, we are not on the selling side of it. We will tell you which side we are on before you pay us anything.
