Accessibility
Statement.
We want anyone who visits this site to be able to read it, navigate it, and contact us, regardless of how they use the web. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and we welcome feedback when we miss.
§ 1Conformance target
Our target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We do not claim full conformance. We test, fix, and re-test on a rolling basis, and this page describes the site as we found it on the date at the top.
§ 2What we checked on 2026-09-26
We re-tested every page of this site in Chrome, at phone widths from 320 to 390 pixels and on a 1440-pixel desktop screen, using a keyboard and automated checks. This is what held up:
- Page structure. Each page has one main heading, headings run in order, and the menu, main content, and footer are marked as separate regions for screen readers.
- Keyboard. The first press of Tab on every page lands on a "Skip to main content" link. You can move through each page with the Tab key. On a phone, the menu takes focus when it opens and closes with Escape.
- Visible focus. Links and buttons show a yellow ring when they have keyboard focus. Form fields show a yellow border.
- Forms. Every form field has a label that screen readers announce.
- Images. Every image has a text description, or is marked as decoration so screen readers skip it.
- Text contrast. Text on solid backgrounds met the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum contrast in our checks. Text on photos is covered under known issues below.
- Links in text. Links inside paragraphs have a line under them, so they do not rely on color alone.
- New tabs. Links that open a new tab say so to screen readers.
- Small screens and zoom. Pages fit a 320-pixel-wide screen without sideways scrolling. That is about the same as zooming to 400 percent on a 1280-pixel laptop screen.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the fade-ins and looping animations switch off.
§ 3Known issues as of 2026-09-26
These are the problems we know about. If you run into something that is not on this list, please tell us.
- Fade-in sections. Sections fade in as you scroll to them, which takes about a second. If you tab through a page quickly, the link you land on can still be fading in. Setting your device to reduce motion shows everything at once.
- Pulsing dots. Small status dots on several pages, including the ones next to the AOG phone number, pulse without stopping. The AOG stamp on the maintenance page pulses too. There is no pause button for them yet. They stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- FAQ focus. The questions in our FAQ sections show your browser's standard focus ring instead of our yellow one. It is thinner and harder to spot on the dark background.
- Text on photos. A few headings and captions sit on top of photos. We darkened the backgrounds behind them, but our automated checks cannot measure text on a photo, so we check those by eye. If any of it is hard to read, tell us.
- Email addresses need JavaScript. Our hosting service hides email addresses from spam bots and uses JavaScript to show them again. With JavaScript turned off, an address can show up as "[email protected]". Our phone numbers are plain text and always work. The office is (941) 375-9727.
