AOG is what the industry calls it when an aircraft can't fly and has to be fixed before it moves again. It's short for aircraft on ground, and it's the call where waiting costs you the most: a canceled trip, a hangar bill in a strange town, a flight school airplane off the line and not earning. Waiting is the expensive part, so our AOG service is built to pick up fast and give you a straight answer on the phone.

Call the AOG line when the airplane won't start, won't make full power, has a fresh leak, a flat, a dead battery, a warning that wasn't there yesterday, or any squawk that makes flying it a bad idea. You don't need a diagnosis first. Tell us the tail number, the field, and what the airplane is doing, and we take it from there. If it turns out to be a five minute fix, good. If it's bigger, you'll hear that on the phone too.

Our AOG service in Florida runs the same way whether the airplane is a piston single that lost its alternator or a light twin with a fuel squawk. The team that answers is the same team that signs annuals in the shop, so the person on the phone already knows what questions to ask.

A mobile unit is not a full hangar. Plenty of squawks that ground an airplane are field-repairable, and those we handle right there at your airplane. Some faults need a lift, a teardown, and time to verify. For those, the right move is to get you legal to ferry or safely moved rather than sign off work we cannot verify on a ramp.

Every repair, on the ramp or in the shop, stays inside the same rules the rest of our work does. That means keeping your aircraft airworthy and current on any applicable FAA airworthiness directives, and documenting what we did so the logbook still makes sense years from now.
